Miss Evie LaRoux is a Midwest based burlesque performer and instructor. Her passion for the discipline emerged only a few years ago…. but she comes by the glitter, rhinestones and feathers honestly. Her childhood consisted of hours of dance classes a week, countless pageants from the age 12 – 24, years of theater and television productions which culminated into a showgirl profession for a number of years. From Las Vegas showrooms to overseas contracts….. Evie has always had hand in the entertainment industry.
Today…. Evie instructs students in Indianapolis weekly and travels to other cities like Chicago and Nashville to pass along her entertainment know how through workshops and performances. She operates a media relations and entertainment based firm, Pur Publicity, along with her dance firm, Pur Dance Fitness… and Pur |The Company. She has recently opened the Midwest School of Burlesque which resides at Studio LaRoux in Indianapolis, IN
